Who are we?
We started our business to make life easier for parents and caregivers - whether it's portable activities for when you're waiting with kids, party favor packs that won't go straight to the trash, or geeky gifts that make you smile - we make things we love, and things we need!
Founded in 2015 and based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, kittd is the brainchild of Kristie VanGorkom and Maria Sanchez-Masi.
kittd (pronounced kit-ted) also provides jobs for stay at home parents returning to the workforce. Kristie is a graphic designer by training, and Maria is a clinical social worker. Neither of us wanted to return to our original fields full-time, so we decided to start our own company. We're proud of our community, our little workshop, and the products we create.
